The first vaccine doses for health workers are expected to arrive in South Africa soon. But there have been concerns that South Africa was slow off the mark and the procurement process should be much further along. Earlier the President said that SA has ordered 20 million doses of the vaccine developed by Astra Zeneca and made by the Serum Institute of India. But it’s been reported that SA is paying more than double the price that most European countries are. To find out where we’re joined by the deputy director-general for health, Dr. Anban Pillay.
