As of today the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases identified in South Africa on 13 July 2021 is 2 219 316 with 12 537 new cases reported over the past 24 hours.

Testing Data
The number of tests conducted to date is 13 989 268.

Deaths and Recoveries
In the last 24 hours, 633 deaths have been reported: Eastern Cape 52, Free State 11, Gauteng 108, Kwa-Zulu Natal 13, Limpopo 58, Mpumalanga 12, North West 0, Northern Cape 17
and Western Cape 362 which brings the total to 65 142 deaths – reported as at 17:00.

The provinces continue to conduct audits of the deaths in hospitals and updating the figures

The cumulative recoveries now stand at 1 961 448 representing a recovery rate of 88,4%.

 

 

Vaccine Rollout
Total number of vaccinations administered in the last 24 hours is 137 421 and the cumulative number of vaccinations administered is 4 535 222.
