Health Department concludes Tobacco Control Webinars

Pretoria: The Department of Health will tomorrow (Wednesday, 16 November) conclude a series of Tobacco Control Webinars with a special focus on various policies developed for guiding tobacco control in South Africa, together with the proposed Tobacco Products and Electronic Delivery Systems Control Bill currently before Parliament.

 This last webinar will also discuss the critical role played by stakeholders involved in tobacco control advocacy to intensify public awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco and its products on the health and economy of the country.

 The department invites members of the media and stakeholders working on tobacco control work to join the discussions.
