Who must register?
If you are 12 and above, don’t wait any longer! Go and get vaccinated at a site near you.
You can speed up the process by registering before you get there. When you register online, you can even choose when and where to go.
You don’t have to wait for an SMS. Just go straight to get vaccinated.
This is particularly important if you are fifty years or older because your risk is highest.

What will the information be used for?
Information submitted during registration will be used to:
- Identify eligible vaccination beneficiaries
- Plan supply of vaccines and ancillary items
- Allocate beneficiaries to their nearest available service point
- Communicate with enrolled individuals about the vaccination program, including but not limited to:
- eligibility
- when and where they will be vaccinated
- follow-up vaccination appointments.
What do you need to register?
- Access to the internet on any device (cellphone, laptop, tablet, desktop etc.)
- Your ID number or Passport (non-RSA), general contact information (your mobile number will be used as the primary mode of communication).
- Where available, your medical aid details.
- With all information at hand registration should take approximately 2-3 minutes

- If you are not a South African Citizen, please select the option most applicable to you:
- Use Passport (if available)
- Use Asylum Seeker/Refugee Number
Step 2/8: General Information
Please complete your general information:
- You will be asked to repeat your ID number (or other identification number) to ensure the identification number is correct
- Passport number is optional
- Your date of birth, name and surname should match the date of birth in your identification document
Step 3/8: Contact Details
Please complete your Contact Details
- Your mobile number will be used to communicate with you about the vaccination program, and to confirm your vaccination date, place and time.
- Your e-mail address is optional.
You will be asked to repeat your mobile number to ensure that the number is correct
Step 4/8: Residential Address (Summary)
Please complete your Residential Address
- Each question (except Residential Address) will have a dropdown list that you can select from, namely:
- Province
- Municipality
- City/Town
- Suburb/Area
- The Residential Address is optional
Step 5/8: Appointment Preference
Please indicate your Appointment Preference:
- Please choose whether you prefer to be scheduled for a vaccination appointment on:
- a Weekday or Weekend and
- in the Morning or Afternoon
Step 6/8: Medical Aid
Please select whether you belong to a Medical Aid:
- If you choose ‘Yes’, you will be asked to provide your medical aid details.
- If you choose ‘No’, you will proceed to Step 7.
Your Medical Aid will pay the Government directly for this vaccine. This will not influence your day-to-day, savings or any other benefit.
You will not be required to pay for this vaccine and no co-payment/levy will be required.
Step 6/8: Medical Aid (Selected ‘Yes’)
- If you indicated that you belong to a Medical Aid. Please select your Medical Aid Scheme Name from the dropdown list.
- Please enter your Medical Aid Number.
